Applications Process

222 Willis welcomes applications from both new and returning students.

222 Willis works towards building a diverse and vibrant community by taking into consideration cultural diversity, personal interests and a wide variety of tertiary institutes and courses. It is important to provide us with as much information as possible in your application. 

Where possible you will be placed in an apartment according to the preferences you have indicated in your application, however this is not always possible. 

What do you need to do?

To have your application considered within the first round of applications, you need to do the following:

  1. Submit your application online

    If you are a new applicant, you will need to register. If you are a returning applicant, you can log in using your previous details.

  2. Supply a Common Confidential Reference Form (CCRF)

    If you have studied at a NZ high school within the last two years, you must ensure that your school provides a Common Confidential Reference Form (CCRF). You can visit the CCRF website (https://ccrf.dotnous.com/students/) and complete a request form that will automatically be sent to your school. Your school will then either upload your reference online or email it to 222 Willis. We will not accept references that come directly from students. 

    If you have been on a gap year, you may wish to provide us with a more recent reference from an employer, tutor or community member to support your application. Your referee must email your reference directly to accommodation@222willis.co.nz with your full name in the subject line.

  3. Pay your Application Fee

    The non-refundable application fee is $75NZD and is payable by directly crediting the following BNZ bank account.

    • Please make sure all International Fees are deducted from the senders account rather than the amount due.

    When all items are received we will send you an acknowledgement email. 

Returning Students

If you already live at 222 Willis and wish to apply for a new year of residence, you will need to:

  1. Complete the 2019 online application

    As a current resident you are already on our database, you can log in using your email address. You have all been assigned a password; which you can have resent to your email if you require it.

You do not need to pay the application fee nor provide a reference. If you have a preferred apartment or flat mate allocation please indicate this in your application.

The Offer Process

The first round of offers will be emailed to students in mid October. If we are unable to provide you with an offer in the first round, your application may be wait-listed. 

Students from the wait-list will be offered places as they come up, this can happen any time between October and February. Please ensure you have provided us with accurate contact details so 222 Willis can contact you if a place becomes available. Please regularly check your emails during this period, as there is a time frame in which to accept your offer.
